You Can’t Lead If You’re Stuck in the Middle

Most business owners don’t notice when it happens.
They start as the operator… and slowly become the center of everything.
The real risk isn’t being busy. It’s being required for everything.
BELAY’s new guide From Operator to Owner: How to Exit the Middle Without Losing Control shows you how to step out of day-to-day execution while keeping visibility, quality, and momentum intact.
BELAY matches you with U.S.-based Assistants who bring structure, follow-through, and operational clarity so work keeps moving without you at the center.
1️⃣ Meta Removes Off-Platform Activity Opt-Out
Meta replaced the "Your activity off Meta technologies" setting with a weaker control called "Activity from other businesses." Advertiser pixel data now also personalizes what people see in their Feed and what Meta AI tells them, and the full opt-out is gone. The change is live in the US, UK, Brazil, and more countries.

My take: Notice the pattern: every "simplified control" gives Meta more data, never less. As an advertiser I won't complain, stronger signals help delivery. As a user, I'd go check that setting today.
2️⃣ Meta Launches Brand-Aware AI Creative Tools
Meta launched brand-aware AI creative generation tools that analyze your existing ads and match new creative to your brand's style and tone. The update also includes improved text generation for headlines and captions. Meta also merged its Creator Marketplace and Partnership Ads Hub into one unified Creator Marketing Hub.

My take: The brand-aware creative generation is the part worth watching. If it actually learns your ad style and produces consistent variants at scale, that saves real creative hours. The Creator Hub merger is just a UI change, but one less place to look for things.
3️⃣ Carousel Ads Get New Collage Display Option
The "Format display options" system Meta announced back in March is now live on carousel ads. At the ad level you can show your uploaded carousel media as a single media ad instead, picking from Collage, Single image or video, or Video slideshow. Each option reuses the media already sitting in your carousel, so there is nothing new to upload.

My take: I will give it a fair test: one upload showing up as a collage or a slideshow is free extra shots on goal. Still not the fix I would have picked first.

4️⃣ Meta's AI Agent Can Replace Your Instant Form
Meta now has official docs for a lead capture AI agent on Instant Forms. Rather than always showing your form, Meta picks between a conversational AI chat and the form itself, based on which one it thinks will convert that lead. The agent answers basic questions using details pulled from your existing form and your website, and it can book a call or grab a time for follow-up.

My take: First booking buttons in Instant Forms, now an agent that can replace the form entirely. Meta is turning lead gen into a chat, and speed to lead wins, so the upside is real. I would still read every transcript before I trust it with real prospects.
5️⃣ Meta Cuts Location Targeting Down to One Option
The location presence dropdown is gone from Ads Manager. You used to pick between Living In, Recently In, Traveling In, or the combined default. Now every ad set runs on "Living in or recently in this location" and Meta decides who counts, using signals like GPS, IP address, and profile data.

My take: Meta keeps trimming manual targeting controls piece by piece. If you run local services and only want residents, or tourism ads and only want travelers, that split is gone and your creative has to do the qualifying now.
